Our day with Little Darling Child Care

Children in my care enjoy their time with me and return home having had a fun packed day that is a mixture of play, education and development.

I plan the type of activities according to the children present and the time of the year. A typical indoor daily routine would be like this:

07:00 – 08:00    Arrival and settling in
07:45 – 08:15    Breakfast
08:30 – 08:50    School drop-off
09:00 – 09:30  Circle Time – discussing weather, dates, monthly topic & news
09:30 – 10:30    Play time
10:30 – 11:00    Children sit together for snack & engage in conversation
11:00 – 11:45   Planned educational activities
11:45 – 12.30   Lunch – freshly prepared. Time to encourage social skills & language
12:30 – 14:00    Relaxation & sleep time
14:00 – 14:30    Circle Time – discussing the day’s activities
14:30 – 15:30    Planned educational activities
15:30 – 16:00    Tea
16:00 – 16:30    Reading and looking at books of our choice
16:30 – 17:00    Winding down and story/DVD time
